2. PUBLIC COMMENT: This section provides the public the opportunity to address the Commissioners Court on any issues within its jurisdiction. The Commissioners Court may not take formal action on any requests made during the Public Comment period which are not on the Agenda, but can refer such requests to County staff for review if appropriate.

A. Commissioners Court will conduct a public hearing on the proposed tax rate for FY2024-2025 to include a proposal to increase the tax revenues for maintenance and operations from properties on the tax roll in the preceding tax year by 9.84 percent for Nueces County and 8.00 percent for Nueces County Hospital District, an amount greater than the no-new revenue tax rate.
