K. Authorize TASB BuyBoard Contract No 447-14 purchase from John Deere for a 2653B mower, MY15 ProGator, and a 1200A Bunker and Field Rake for Department 0140 (Stadium).
L. Authorize a purchase from Alarm Security & Contracting, Inc. for installation and monitoring service for Commissioner Precinct 1 Hilltop satellite office.
M. Authorize TASB BuyBoard Contract No. 413-12 purchase from BSNSports for goal posts and bleachers for the LyondellBasell Park.
N. Authorize execution of Amendment No. 1 to the agreement with Corpus Christi Disposal Service for IFB No. 2937-13 Solid Waste Collection & Disposal Service (Dumpsters) for County properties only.
A. Discuss and consider authorizing settlement of the County's property damage claim against David Staff (Texas Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company).
B. Discuss and consider authorizing the County Attorney's Office to pursue a claim against the driver and owner related to January 8, 2014 motor vehicle accident involving a Nueces County Sheriff's prisoner transport van.
C. Consult with outside attorney to provide legal advice relating to Commissioners Court's legal rights, duties, privileges, and obligations under the American with Disabilities Settlement Agreement with the Department of Justice and related matters.
D. Discuss and consider ratify the hiring of Douglas E. Chaves Attorney At Law and the Firm of Chaves, Obregon & Perales, L.L.P. to represent Nueces County and five (5) unnamed jailers in their individual capacities in Civil Action No. 2:15-CV-327; Sylvia Fuentes v. City of Corpus Christi, et al., in the United States District Court (Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division).
E. Consult with outside attorney pursuant to Section 551.071(2), Texas Gov’t. Code to receive legal advice and counsel relating to the County’s legal rights, privileges, duties, and obligations in connection with the pending collective bargaining process and specifically with respect to the possible impasse status of the negotiations and related matters.
F. Deliberate the purchase of Real Property in the northwest area of Nueces County for use as a county records warehouse.
G. Consult with County Attorney to discuss and consider Civil Action No. 2:14-CV-435, Karen Barsch v. Nueces County, In the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division, attend court-ordered mediation and authorize settlement, and related matters.
